Working on a Logistics Website Project

I'm currently working on a Logistics Website, and I'm excited to share a glimpse of the project.

So far, I've completed the navbar and hero section, which you'll see in the images below.

You can also check how the interface looks on both desktop and mobile devices. Ensuring a responsive and user-friendly experience across different screen sizes is one of my priorities.

Every great web application starts somewhere and this is just the beginning.

There's still a lot to build, including user authentication, additional pages, backend integration and other features that will bring the project to life.

I'll continue sharing my progress as I develop more parts of the website, and I'd love to hear your feedback along the way.

Exploring the Backend with Supabase

Lately, I've been spending more time on the backend side of web development, and one of the tools I've been working with is Supabase

It's been a great experience learning how to connect applications to a database, perform some of the CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update and Delete) and manage data efficiently.

Working with databases has given me a better understanding of what happens behind the scenes when users interact with a web application. Every form submission, update, search or deletion relies on a well structured backend and database

Frontend is what users see but the backend is what makes everything work.

This is just the beginning of my backend journey. Looking forward to learning more and sharing the journey along the way

Build a Strong Foundation First

One thing I've come to realize in tech is that having a strong foundation makes learning new technologies much easier

Many people are eager to jump into frameworks, libraries or the latest tools, but understanding the fundamentals should always come first

For example, while learning React, I realized how important JavaScript really is. Having a good understanding of JavaScript makes learning React much easier and helps you understand what is happening behind the scenes

This doesn't apply only to React. In many areas of technology, having a solid understanding of the basics makes it easier to learn advanced tools and frameworks

Multitasking and exploring different technologies is good, but building a strong foundation before moving to the next thing can save you a lot of confusion along the way

Frameworks may change. Technologies may evolve. But the fundamentals remain valuable.

Build your foundation first, then keep growing from there.

GitHub Has Truly Changed the Digital World

One thing I can confidently say is that GitHub has been incredibly helpful in the digital world.

Whether you're a developer, designer, student, contributor or someone learning a new skill, GitHub has provided a platform to store projects, collaborate with others, track progress and share ideas with the world.

Personally, GitHub has been a valuable tool in my journey. From backing up projects to showcasing my work and learning from others, it has made development much easier and more organized.

Sometimes, we use these tools every day without taking a moment to appreciate the impact they have on our growth and productivity.

So, here's a little appreciation post for GitHub and the value it brings to the tech community.

Something Distinct about JavaScript

One thing I've come to realize while working with JavaScript is that it's not just about knowing functions, methods, loops, arrays or syntax.

Yes, you need to understand these concepts because they are the tools you'll use to solve problems.

But beyond that, JavaScript is largely about logic

When faced with a problem, don't rush to write code immediately. First, understand what needs to be done and break it down into smaller, manageable steps.

Knowing a lot of functions is great, but knowing when, where and how to use them is what makes the difference.

Many programming problems look difficult at first, but once you break them down step by step, the solution becomes much clearer.

So the next time you're stuck on a JavaScript problem:

✅ Understand the problem
✅ Break it into smaller steps
✅ Think through the logic
✅ Then use the right functions and methods to solve it

The tools are important, but logic is what brings everything together.

Simple Project

I built an Expense Tracker application using JavaScript as part of my development work.

In this project, I focused on improving functionality with JavaScript while using Tailwind CSS to design a clean and responsive interface.

The application is fully responsive across different screen sizes, ensuring a smooth user experience on both mobile and desktop devices.

Each project continues to strengthen my understanding of real-world frontend development and how to combine logic with clean UI design.

CSS or Tailwind CSS?

As a web developer, I've worked with both the regular CSS and Tailwind CSS, and each has its own advantages.

CSS gives you full control over your styling and helps you understand the fundamentals of web design and layouts.

Tailwind CSS, on the other hand, can speed up development with its utility-first approach and makes it easier to build responsive interfaces quickly.

Both are powerful tools, but developers often have their personal preference depending on the project and workflow.

So, I'm curious:

Responsiveness Matters in Web Development

As a web developer, one thing I’ve continued to learn is that building a website is not just about how good it looks on a desktop screen

Most users access websites through mobile devices, so it’s important to ensure your website is responsive, properly structured and well organized across different screen sizes

Recently, one of my instructors gave us a project to replicate a website design from Figma, and one major lesson from the project was understanding responsiveness and media queries better

Working on the project really helped me improve the way I approach responsive design. It made me realize that true practice is one of the best ways to grow as a developer
