Candidates who have not yet seen their 2026 UTME results, or whose results are showing "Under Investigation"** or "Withdrawn,"are advised to check their Examination Notification Slips to confirm whether they have been scheduled for the UTME mop-up examination holding on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Slip reprinting has commenced, and affected candidates should verify their examination status, venue, and time as soon as possible.

Do not assume you are not eligible. Check your slip to see if you have been included in the mop-up exercise.

JAMB RELEASES 279 UTME RESULTS PREVIOUSLY HELD FOR INVESTIGATION:

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released 279 results from those previously held for further investigation. This is in addition to the results earlier released by the Board.

The release follows ongoing investigations into cases of suspected examination malpractice. While some results have been outrightly cancelled where evidence of malpractice was established, others have been released where the Board found no prima facie case against the affected candidates.

Results from centres where the Board’s live monitoring team observed suspicious activities, or where adverse reports were received, remain withheld pending further investigation. Where sufficient evidence of culpability is established, such results will be cancelled.

Candidates whose results have not yet been released are advised to check their status by sending UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used for registration to view their released results.

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO HND HOLDERS

The Federal Ministry of Education and the National Universities Commission (NUC) have stated that HND to BSc conversion or “Top-Up” programmes are not approved and have been discontinued.

According to the update:
▪️ HND and BSc are both recognised graduate qualifications
▪️ NUC said it never approved HND-to-BSc conversion programmes
▪️ Some universities reportedly run such programmes without official approval

⚠️ Candidates are advised to avoid any unapproved “HND to BSc Conversion” programme, as it may not be recognised for academic or professional purposes.

✅ Approved Options for HND Holders:
• Apply for a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
• Proceed to Master’s Degree after PGD
• Use Direct Entry to gain admission into a university degree programme

Candidates are advised to follow only approved academic pathways recognised by the NUC.
