What if I told you this film was made with just
2 actors,
1 location,
and was actually a remake?

No big budget. No elaborate set pieces. Just a story we believed in and the determination to tell it well.

The Dark Box went on to win Best Nollywood Short Film by a new filmmaker at the Realtime International Film Festival and screened at festivals across Africa, Europe, and North America.
A few festivals even invited it back for subsequent editions-something I’ll always be grateful for.

It’s a reminder that audiences don’t remember how many locations you had or how much you spent.

They remember how your story made them feel.

Beyond editing, this was about people, stories, and building bridges across Africa.
Thank you, Benin. Until the next phase. 🇧🇯❤️
