BEYOND THE FELLOWSHIP: ABAS IAUE CHAPTER SPREADS THE FATHERโ€™S GOSPEL

With all glory, honour, praise and thanksgiving, we return all thanks to our Heavenly Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, for His endless love, mercy, guidance and unfailing grace upon His children.

On August 27, 2026, the Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars (ABAS), Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) Chapter, carried out a purposeful Evangelical Outreach as part of the activities marking the 5th Edition of Epitome of Gratitude, themed โ€œHis Light, Our Legacy.โ€

The evangelism was a meaningful expression of gratitude to our Heavenly Father and an opportunity for the ABASites to take the Fatherโ€™s Gospel beyond the confines of the fellowship and into the wider school community. With hearts filled with dedication and a deep sense of responsibility, members came together to proclaim the Fatherโ€™s message and enlighten students on the divine principles that guide mankind.

The outreach focused on reaching students and other members of the university community with messages of truth, love, peace and righteousness. Through meaningful interactions and the sharing of the Fatherโ€™s teachings, the ABASites encouraged those they encountered to embrace the light of Our Fatherโ€™s truth and allow its principles to guide their daily lives.

Beyond simply sharing a message, the evangelism served as a reminder that the light received from Our Father is not meant to be kept within the fellowship. As children of the Father, we are called to let that light shine through our words, conduct and actions, becoming living expressions of the values and principles we have received.

With humility and commitment, the ABASites moved across the campus, engaging with students and sharing the Fatherโ€™s Gospel from one person to another. Their participation reflected a collective willingness to contribute to the Fatherโ€™s work while positively impacting lives within the university community.

The Evangelical Outreach was indeed a significant part of the 5th Edition of Epitome of Gratitude, further demonstrating the unity, dedication and spiritual commitment of the ABAS IAUE Chapter. It was a memorable opportunity to interact with members of the university community while extending the reach of the Fatherโ€™s message.

We give all glory and honour to our Heavenly Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, for granting us the grace, strength and wisdom to carry out this evangelism successfully. We remain grateful for the lives reached, the message shared and the privilege to continue making the Fatherโ€™s light known.

THANK YOU, FATHER.

Bishop (Dr.) Henry Hezekiah Akpirigwe holds a significant place in the history of the Chapter, having served as President at a time when the institution was known as the Rivers State College of Education. His service and contributions during that period remain an important part of the Chapterโ€™s history and legacy. He currently serves as the Vice-Chairman on Ethics, Discipline and Protocol CNCF International.

The visit concluded on a note of gratitude and thanksgiving, with the ABASites appreciating the Father for the privilege of the encounter, the wisdom shared, and the continued growth, unity, and advancement of the Chapter.

As the Chapter continues to build upon the legacy of those who have served before, the visit stood as a meaningful reminder that the light passed from one generation continues to illuminate the path for another.

ABAS IAUE CHAPTER STRENGTHENS THE SPIRIT OF SERVICE THROUGH SANITATION EXERCISE

26-08-2026

As part of the activities marking The 5th Edition of Epitome of Gratitude, the Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars (ABAS), Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) Chapter, once again demonstrated its commitment to service, responsibility, and community impact by organizing a sanitation exercise within the university premises on Wednesday, 26th August, 2026.

The exercise brought ABASites together in a beautiful display of unity, enthusiasm, and willingness to serve. Members actively participated in cleaning and tidying various areas within the school environment, contributing to the overall cleanliness, neatness, and aesthetic appeal of the campus.

More than just a sanitation activity, the exercise provided an opportunity for ABASites to put into practice the values of responsibility, selflessness, discipline, teamwork, and service to humanity. With everyone playing a part, the atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and joy as members worked together towards a common purpose.

The initiative beautifully reflects the deeper meaning of The 5th Edition of Epitome of Gratitude, which goes beyond words of thanksgiving and celebration. It is also about expressing gratitude through positive actions, meaningful service, and contributions that make a difference in the lives and environments around us.

By taking the time to care for the university environment, ABAS IAUE Chapter reaffirmed its belief that service is one of the practical expressions of gratitude. The exercise also highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean, healthy, and conducive academic environment, recognizing that a well-kept school environment contributes positively to the learning, comfort, and general well-being of students and staff.

Throughout the exercise, ABASites worked side by side with remarkable enthusiasm and cooperation. The collective effort not only brought visible improvement to the areas covered but also strengthened the spirit of togetherness among members. It was another opportunity for ABASites to demonstrate that when individuals unite with a shared purpose, even simple efforts can produce meaningful results.

Most importantly, the sanitation exercise served as a reminder that true service does not always require grand or extraordinary gestures. Sometimes, service is found in the simple willingness to pick up a broom, clean a space, lend a helping hand, and leave an environment better than it was found.

THANK YOU FATHER.
