Haven of Love Children’s Foundation in collaboration with Global Impact For Rural Innovation Foundation (GIRIF) organized a powerful Free Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening Outreach across multiple communities in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
From Nabdam to Apoodabogo, Teshie and Sapeliga….our teams showed up where it mattered most, bringing free screenings, health education and professional care directly to women in underserved communities.
Because every woman deserves access. Every woman deserves early detection. Every woman matters. 💛

We were honoured to have our founder Obipiseibima Priscillia Aggokabo-Fatchu (PhD, FRSPH) featured on The Pulse on Joy News joining an important conversation on Cervical Cancer Screening: Empowering Women, Saving Lives.
This is exactly what GIRIF stands for…taking rural health advocacy beyond the communities and into national conversations. Because the more we talk about it, the more lives we save. 💗
Cervical cancer is preventable. Early detection saves lives. And we will keep showing up in communities, in clinics and on every platform until every woman has access. 🌍

On May 27–28, GIRIF joined hands with Happy Girls Foundation to commemorate World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026 and what a powerful two days it was.
From Asukawkaw to Dormabin, we educated, screened, and showed up for girls and women in our communities. Together we:
✅ Conducted health education & HPV screening
✅ Held a float from Asukawkaw to Dormabin

None of this would have been possible without our amazing supporters, donors, and volunteers who believed in the mission.
To every hand that gave, every foot that marched, every heart that showed up thank you.
Together, we are building a period friendly world. 🌍

This World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, we are standing together to support adolescent girls through education, awareness, and access to sanitary care.
