Truths With Elliot

Peter didn't pray a long prayer.
He didn't use impressive words.
As he began to sink, he cried:
"Lord, save me!"
And immediately, Jesus reached out His hand.
This reminds us that God hears sincere prayers—not just long ones.
If all you can pray today is, "Lord, help me," He hears you.
📖 Matthew 14:30–31
"Lord, save me!" Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him.
🙏 If this encouraged you, comment AMEN and share it with someone who needs hope today.

"Judge not."
It's one of the most quoted verses in the Bible...
and one of the most misunderstood.
Jesus wasn't telling us to ignore sin or pretend that truth doesn't matter.
He was warning us against hypocrisy—condemning others while refusing to examine our own hearts.
Before correcting someone else, let God correct you first.
Truth and love always belong together.
📖 Matthew 7:1–5
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged... First take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

Storms don't mean God has abandoned you.
The disciples had Jesus in the boat...
Yet they still faced the storm.
Sometimes God's presence doesn't keep us from the storm—it carries us through it.
Whatever you're facing today, remember:
Jesus is still in your boat.
📖 Mark 4:39
"Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace, be still!' And the wind ceased and there was a great calm."
🙏 If you're trusting Jesus through your storm, type:
PEACE, BE STILL

I got over 20 reactions on one of my posts last week! Thanks everyone for your support! 🎉

Most of us spend time worrying about tomorrow.
But Jesus gave us a different invitation.
He said:
"Look at the birds. Your Heavenly Father feeds them."
If God faithfully cares for the birds of the air and the flowers of the field, how much more will He care for you?
Whatever you're facing today, choose faith over fear.
God already knows what you need.
🙏 If you're trusting God with your worries, type "I TRUST GOD" in the comments.
📖 Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Some prayers ask God to change our situation.

But the most powerful prayers ask Him to change us.

🙏 "Lord, make me more like Jesus."

That's a prayer He delights to answer.

If that's your prayer today, type:

CHANGE ME, LORD

📖 "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God..." — James 1:5

King Solomon had wealth beyond imagination.

Yet he discovered something many people spend their whole lives learning.

Money can buy comfort...

But it cannot buy peace.

It cannot buy purpose.

It cannot buy eternal life.

Jesus said,

"Seek first the Kingdom of God."

What is more valuable than money to you?

Don't mistake God's silence for His absence.

The Canaanite woman didn't stop praying because the answer didn't come immediately.

She kept believing.

She kept trusting.

And Jesus honored her faith.

If you're waiting for an answer today, don't give up.

Type I WON'T GIVE UP below. 🙏

If God asked you,

"What do you want Me to give you?"

What would your answer be?
