SOLIDWORKS TUTORIAL FOR YEAR ONE STUDENTS

The Office of the Director of Information is pleased to announce a SolidWorks Training and Tutorial Session specially organized for all Year One students of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Engineering has a whole.

This training is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) using SolidWorks, one of the most widely used engineering design software packages in industry and academia.

Participants Will Learn:

_✅ Introduction to the SolidWorks Interface_
_✅ Installation process_
_✅ Basic Sketching Techniques_
_✅ 3D Part Modeling_
_✅ Engineering Drawings and Dimensioning_
_✅ Practical Design Projects and Exercises_
_✅ Best Practices for Engineering Design_

Students are strongly encouraged to attend and participate actively, as practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises will be included.
