β€Ž
β€ŽHeld at His Divine Redeemed World Ministries, Onna L.G.A., Akwa Ibom State, the ceremony attracted notable personalities and community stakeholders, including councillors from different wards, fathers of faith, entrepreneurs, men, women and youths from different parts of Onna and beyond.
β€Ž
β€ŽPreaching at the ceremony, Apostle Dr. Elijah Jack delivered a strong message on the responsibility of parents in shaping the lives and destinies of their children.
β€ŽHe described children as pillars and the image of every family, stressing that the values instilled in them today will determine the kind of individuals and leaders they become tomorrow.
β€Ž
β€ŽHe charged parents not to measure successful parenting only by the provision of food, clothing, education and other material necessities, but also by the character, discipline, spiritual foundation and values they build into their children.
β€ŽAccording to him, children need deliberate guidance and proper mentorship to navigate a changing society. He encouraged parents to teach their children the fear of God, respect for others, hard work, honesty, responsibility and love, while also reminding parents that their own lives remain the first classroom their children attend.
β€Ž
β€ŽSpeaking on behalf of the family, Mr. Essien Essien gave thanks to God for what he described as a remarkable day in the life of his family.
β€ŽHe expressed deep appreciation for the gift of his children and the opportunity to dedicate them to God in the presence of the church, family, friends and the wider community.
β€Ž
β€ŽHe acknowledged the responsibility that comes with fatherhood, noting that the dedication was not simply a celebration but also a renewed commitment to raise the children with love, discipline, wisdom and the fear of God.
β€Ž
β€Ž
β€ŽHe thanked everyone who honoured the invitation and stood with the family, praying that Michael and Ekeminiabasi would grow to become responsible, successful and God-fearing individuals who would bring honour to their family and positively impact their generation.
β€Ž
β€ŽFollowing the church ceremony, guests proceeded to the reception held within the church premises, where the atmosphere shifted into a beautiful celebration of family, friendship and community.
β€ŽThe reception was richly served with a variety of sumptuous African delicacies, as guests shared meals, exchanged pleasantries and celebrated the Essien family and their newly dedicated children.
β€ŽThe occasion ended on a memorable note, leaving the family and guests with a shared reminder that every child is a precious gift, and every dedication comes with a responsibility to nurture that gift into a life of purpose, character and impact.
β€Ž
β€ŽThe story does not end with today’s celebration. The full video coverage drops tomorrow, bringing you beautiful moments from the dedication, reception and the people who made the occasion memorable.
