‼️ PROJECT TRACKER'S UPDATE…

His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno Ph.D, have directed all commercial tricycle and bus operators in Akwa Ibom State to complete their registration and obtain identification numbers and QR codes on or before September 30, 2026. After the deadline, no unregistered public transport vehicle will be allowed to operate on our roads.

This is part of the Government effort to strengthen security and ensure that commercial transport operators can be properly identified and tracked where necessary.

The Governor inspected the CNG Bus Terminal, Victor Attah International Airport Hospital, Aviation Staff Quarters and Dakkada Luxury Estate.

Work is progressing, and the CNG transport facilities are expected to become operational by November.

the Uyo Village Road erosion control, land reclamation and bridge construction project.

♦️CLIENT: Ministry of Works and Fire Service, Government of Akwa Ibom State.

♦️CONTRACTOR: AMITECH Construction.

♦️CURRENT STATUS OF WORK/ BENEFITS: Construction of bridge.
The intervention will reclaim over 150 hectares of land, protect nearby public facilities and open up the area for the planned Uyo Downtown development, including residential estates and other infrastructure.

GIFA PARTNERS FIDELITY BANK TO EMPOWER 300 WOMEN IN AKWA IBOM

The Patience Umo Eno Golden Initiative for All (GIFA), in partnership with Fidelity Bank Plc, has empowered 300 women drawn from the 31 Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom State with cash grants and business tools, to strengthen their enterprises and improve their livelihoods.

PROJECT TRACKER UPDATE;

The Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State received the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company, Engr. Jennifer Adighije, and her team at Government House, Uyo,
Part of the discussion was about the completion of the 330kV National Integrated Power Project along the Ikot Ekpene–Ikot Abasi axis.

The Governor assured the team of the State Government’s intervention to resolve outstanding issues, including wayleave compensation, so the project, which has been stalled for about 20 years, can be completed.

The completion of the transmission line will significantly improve electricity supply across Akwa Ibom and support our broader efforts to strengthen the State’s power sector.
