A strong start for Mobycon Academy Roundtables!
Last month, we hosted our very first Mobycon Academy Roundtable. This new discussion series brings together leading practitioners from across North America to exchange ideas and push forward the practice of street design. Our first session focused on multi-stage signalized pedestrian crossings, a topic that sparked a rich and thought-provoking conversation.
We welcomed participants from municipalities and consulting firms across Canada and the US. One of the key takeaways is that while North American signal controllers don’t natively support pedestrian green waves, practitioners are finding creative ways to make them happen.
All in all, it was an inspiring and highly productive session, and we’re excited to continue building this community through future Roundtables.
