Smooth landing and strong results in East Malaysia! 🌊
Over the last year, several of our A-type motion-compensated gangway systems have continued to play a key role in supporting offshore operations across East Malaysia.
Since October 2025, an A-type has been deployed on a long-term campaign, facilitating almost 20,000 personnel transfers and completing more than 450 landings to date. With a further four months remaining, the project continues to demonstrate the importance of dependable access solutions in maintaining reliable offshore operations.
More recently, another A-type commenced operations in June 2026. Scheduled to continue through November 2026, the campaign has already achieved nearly 17,000 personnel transfers highlighting the strong performance of both the system and the teams supporting the project.
We are also proud to be selected as the first Motion Compensated Gangway working alongside the FLNG, showcasing the confidence that our client has in Ampelmann. This project will commence in August 2026 during which Ampelmann will mobilize another A-type gangway for a short-term campaign supporting a floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility.
These achievements reflect the dedication of our team in the APAC region who have contributed to the success of the campaigns so far.
