ISLE

Lise’s mesmerising voice carries you like a wave into a curious landscape of serene melodies and spoken words, a resting place for introverted dreamers and creative spirits. Like a musical inventor Arjan designs and rearranges folk, indie and classical elements into an original sound that reminds you of Portishead, London Grammar and Björk. The juxtaposition of electronic soundscapes and orchestral arrangements create an unexpecting match, just like this unlikely duo's contrasting personalities seamlessly combine into an unstoppable passion to create. Evidence of this passion is found in the liveshow. The combination of a light decor responsive to sound and movement and inventive pop music, gives you a feeling of creative freedom, possibility and space in which you want to lose yourself.
