Health Project

The Health Project is a volunteering opportunity provided by AIESEC in The Netherlands which enables students to experience the healthcare system of a different country. The Health Project is a volunteering experience provided by AIESEC that allows students to experience the healthcare system of a different country. A Health Project falls under one of these three pillars: mental, physical and institutional health. The project lasts between 6 and 8 weeks and can be done in Africa, South America and Europe. The goal of the Health Project is to positively impact health institutions, by, for example, getting the opportunity to work at NGOs specialized in children with special needs, working at different departments of a local hospital, or working with kids to help them understand and gain awareness about healthy lifestyles. Next to doing the project, students are also able to set up their own health campaign to give back to the community.
