Top pace at Kerpen – P2 finish! 🏁

The speed was definitely there! We had a strong practice session and put together some really competitive lap times.

Unfortunately, two time penalties in the opening two heats meant we had to start the final from P6. The start wasn’t ideal and I got caught up in the first-corner action, dropping all the way back to P12.

From there, it was time to fight back. I pushed hard lap after lap and worked my way through the field, eventually reaching P3. With a time penalty for the driver in P1, that promoted us to P2! 🥈

A strong comeback and great pace all weekend. We’ll take the P2 and keep pushing! 💪🏁

We had the pace. Everything was in place for a strong run to the final. But sometimes motorsport has other plans. A scale reset between the warm-up and the heat left us below the minimum weight, resulting in a disqualification. In an instant, a strong position heading into the final was gone.

It’s a tough one to swallow, but that’s part of racing. We’ll take the lessons, recharge, and come back stronger.

P2 in the Final at Genk 🏆

Strong pace all weekend and really happy with the speed we showed.
A shame about the penalty in Race 1 while fighting for P3, but we kept pushing and came back strong.

Qualifying: P6
Race 1: P6 → P11 (penalty)
Race 2: P11 → P6
Final: P8 → P2

Good recovery, great points, and plenty of positives to take away.
Next stop: Ostricourt 🔥

First race weekend of 2026 done! Had speed in the dry till things went awry in quali. Saturday was rainy, pace was great, but engine probs on Sunday ruined the superheat and final 🤷🏼‍♂️. On to the next🫡

Did something different yesterday. My friend and I did a 1 hour rental race. We had a blast!
