𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 - 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼

After 2 years of not driving sprints in Italy🇮🇹 i returned with hopes and dreams.
I leave with it all broken😢

The amount of bu****it I had to endure during this weekend is crazy and I barely had any opportunities to show my actual pace. Penalties, pushing off track, driving left on a straight, don’t brake into corners, i’ve seen and felt it all.

To make things worse, i woke up on Sunday feeling really unwell and couldn’t drink or eat. My final I had difficulties getting my helmet on and take my ballast to the kart.
But that didn’t stop me from performing one of my better races which ended the weekend somewhat okay.

I finish 69/199 👀 drivers, and while it should be higher, it’s also another valuable lesson.

Much more important!! - THANK YOU to all the friends I made along the way, this weekend is a memory i will never forget and that is all thanks to you!

🥇Class Winners at 12h GWK Olen🏆

2 weeks ago I participated in the 12h of GWK Olen.
Not with my regular team, but as TEAM Fastlane | Karting & Bowling

Having the opportunity to represent a karting that I owe so much to is a dream come true! 🤩

After a few laps in quali, it was decided to wager some strategy and we qualified last, after 12h this was probably the best idea.

We managed to do 3 out of 4 hours of heavyweight stints pretty early dropping us down in rankings. After the halfway mark we started to move up again.

At some point I even held the fastest race lap😅

Due to circumstances I had to drive some 95kg stints as well, and while it was a long time since i had done these, and taking 25kg of extra weight, also here I was happy with the pace.

End of the race we finished P1 in class and even finished ahead of 2 teams in the pro class.

I think we showed that Fastlane | Karting & Bowling is a very good learning school and that we can take those skills to any track🚀

Thank you to my Fastlane teammates for doing this together. It always feels more fun to do it with your karting family
