On September 28, 2026, ESPRM delegates will gather in Edinburgh for the ESPRM General Assembly 2026. The full Assembly agenda is now available.

On World Physiotherapy Day, ESPRM congratulates physiotherapists, whose collaborative efforts in the rehabilitation team form the core of our holistic approach to patient care. By uniting expertise with specialized rehabilitation, together we restore movement, independence, and quality of life for those we serve.

The ESPRM General Assembly is coming to Edinburgh this autumn.

ESPRM acknowledges the publication of the 2026 ESC Guidelines on Cardiac Rehabilitation, an important step towards strengthening cardiac rehabilitation across Europe.

ESPRM and its Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Expert Group contributed the Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM) perspective during the external review process, particularly regarding functional assessment, individualized rehabilitation, multimorbidity, disability and the role of PRM physicians within multidisciplinary teams.
Dr Marta Supervía participated as an expert reviewer throughout the successive review rounds.
ESPRM recognises the importance of including PRM physicians within cardiac rehabilitation teams and supports leadership models based on appropriate competencies, specific training and experience in cardiovascular rehabilitation, in accordance with national frameworks.
ESPRM will continue collaborating with the ESC and other European scientific societies to advance accessible, evidence-based and patient-centred cardiac rehabilitation across Europe.

Abstract submissions are now open!
We welcome original research and case reports related to shoulder pathology, musculoskeletal radiology, interventions and rehabilitation strategies. Abstracts should be submitted to [email protected] by 28 September 2026.
