What a weekend. ❤️
Two days. Countless conversations. Great music. Good vibes. Amazing people.
This past weekend, we had the opportunity to bring Hangout Haven by Afro Version 2.0 to the African Food Festival African Food Festival a space where people could relax, connect, play games, and enjoy the music together.
Seeing people make the space their own was exactly what we envisioned, and it reminded us why we started Afro Version 2.0 in the first place: to create experiences that bring communities together through music and culture.
A huge thank you to the African Food Festival team for believing in our vision and making us part of such a beautiful event. And to everyone who stopped by, played a game, danced, had a conversation, or simply enjoyed the atmosphere—thank you for making it special.
This is only the beginning.
Here’s to many more experiences to come. 🧡
To the amazing team! And anyone who has supported us! We see you!! We wanna say thank you much . We love y’all

🚨 PLEASE HELP US 🚨
Last Sunday night, after our Hangout Haven event, our car was broken into in Rotterdam and several important items were stolen.
📍 Location: Boekhorststraat, Rotterdam
🕒 Time: Between 00:30 and 04:00
🚗 Vehicle: Modern Black Peugeot 208 with a German license plate
The following items were stolen:
💻 MacBook Pro
📹 DJI Osmo Pocket 3
📹 DJI Osmo Pocket 4
📸 Canon EOS R50
Besides the financial damage, we also lost valuable content, footage and memories from our events. Years of hard work documenting Afroversion 2.0 and The Hangout Haven were stored on the stolen devices and hard drives.
If you were in the area that night and saw anything suspicious, have dashcam footage, CCTV footage, or any information that could help, please contact us directly.
🙏🏾 We have now launched a GoFundMe campaign to help us recover from this loss and continue building Afroversion 2.0 & The Hangout Haven. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us get one step closer to replacing our equipment and continuing our journey.

If you’re unable to donate, please share this post and the fundraiser with your friends, family and network. Your support means everything to us.
Thank you to everyone who has already reached out, shared kind words and offered support. Let’s come together as a community and help rebuild what was taken from us. ❤️
