PAE

To advance understanding of performance art, Performance Art Event (PAE) organizes events dedicated exclusively to the form, often creating a space for improvisation in the most radical sense. We think performance art often plays a supportive role in events devoted to visual art, but the perishable character of live performance can be considered a starting point for initiating transgressions across definitions and media. PAE strives to realize performances in close collaboration with international artists by offering support and creating an environment best suited for appreciating their work. We look forward to growing as a platform and to raising awareness of performance as a practice. And we welcome anyone interested in visual art to attend our events and to inquire into the ways in which performance is being renewed.
