It was such an honour to attend one of our MSR scholar 2019 alumni Nai Barghouti’s stunning performance with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta and Syrian singer Wasim Arslan at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.

The evening was a breathtaking tribute to Fairuz, bringing her timeless music to life through a rich encounter of traditions and soundscapes.

Nai crafted a unique fusion of Arabic musical traditions, jazz vocal improvisation, and classical orchestration. It was truly unforgettable.
