Op nog geen 15 minuten fietsen van de binnenstad vind je . In deze monumentale boerderij uit 1599 vind je een ambachtelijke bakkerij én restaurant: de perfecte plek om even neer te strijken. Van versgebakken brood en goede koffie tot een uitgebreid ontbijt, lunch, high tea, borrel of diner midden in het groen.

Aan de Weerdsingel staat een replica van de Utrechtse Stadskraan: een indrukwekkend bouwwerk dat ruim vier eeuwen lang werd gebruikt om zware goederen uit schepen te laden. En het mooiste? De enorme tredmolen werkt nog steeds.

Benieuwd hoe dat eruitziet? Bezoek de Stadskraan op zaterdag tussen 13.00 en 17.00 uur. De vrijwilligers laten de kraan draaien en vertellen je alles over dit bijzondere stukje Utrechtse geschiedenis. De toegang is gratis.
