CEP is pleased to announce the Leadership Excellence Training, taking place from 19–21 October 2026 in Zagreb, Croatia, organised in cooperation with the Croatian Probation Service.

This exclusive training programme is designed for a small group of Directors General and Deputy Directors General representing CEP full and associate member organisations.

Building on the outcomes of the CEP DG Conference in Kiel, Germany (2023), the training will provide a unique opportunity to:
🔹 Strengthen leadership skills and strategic awareness
🔹 Exchange experiences and good practices with colleagues from across Europe
🔹 Explore communication, new technologies, and staff management approaches
🔹 Enhance cooperation and knowledge sharing within the probation community

From 6–8 October 2026 in Antalya, Türkiye, the conference will bring together practitioners, researchers, policymakers, victims' organisations, and technology experts to explore this year's theme:

Electronic Monitoring in a Changing World – Perception versus Reality

With a programme of plenary sessions and interactive workshops, the conference offers an opportunity to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and discuss the evolving role of electronic monitoring across Europe and beyond.

The International Training School on Core Correctional Skills 2026 brings together probation and correctional professionals for a practical week focused on strengthening the skills that make a difference in everyday practice.

Under the theme “Clicks and Empathy: Core Correctional Skills in Digital Probation”, participants will explore how to build effective working relationships, use communication skills with purpose, and apply evidence-based approaches in both face-to-face and digital settings.
