Our daughter is graduating!
Zelah Mori Kusje Malin based in the
Netherlands, is a multidiciplined artist.
Diving deeper into the layers of the self and
identity by using her own narrative. Using
string, performance and drawing as she
creates sculptures with care, control and
chaos all in one. Using these states to
understand healing and honesty.
Zelah Malin discovers and remakes personal
stories into a uncomfortable forms of
healing. Using performance and writing, she
brings her narrative to life with spoken
word, dance and embodying, feeling all the
pain, love and vulerablity she has felt from
her past trauma. She provokes questions,
subverting expectation of others with
spoken word. By challenging herself and her
identity by stepping out of her comfort
Zone, she uses meditational drawing asa
way to reconnect to her child self. Her art is
used as reflection, not only for herself but as
a medium to connect and reflect with
others. Using art as a method for healing
and grasping a broader sense of herself and
thus others around her.
