2026, that's a wrap 🧡

Four days, a lot of technical conversations, and more interest in subsea electrification than we came expecting. Thank you to everyone who stopped by Stand 3120, asked the difficult questions, and stayed for the answers.

ONS 2026 opens today, and Init is on the floor in Stavanger for the week. 🇳🇴

Find us in Hall 3, Stand 3120. We've brought the Mocean VSD range and the Safety SEM with us, so if you want to talk qualification detail, failsafe logic or alarm architecture, come and talk to the people who built them.

The Mocean VSD range (5.5 / Hybrid / 55) doesn't start as a subsea-specific design. It builds on industrial technology already sold in the thousands of units onshore.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲:
🟠 The 5.5 kW, 10 kW and 55 kW power classes are each qualified individually for driving motors and pumps down to 3000 meters
🟠 Units are tested and verified against vibration, mechanical shock and electrical fluctuation - the actual stresses of a subsea environment, not just lab conditions
🟠 The solution is COTS-based, meaning troubleshooting and spare parts logistics can rely on an established onshore platform, not a closed, proprietary design.

The result is a VSD range that covers both permanent and temporary subsea installations, on the same base platform regardless of power requirement.
