Welders for a project in Norway.

We are looking for skilled and reliable welders with documented experience in TIG 141 pipe welding.

Start date: 28.09.2026
Rotation: 4/2 – 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off

REQUIREMENTS:
Valid TIG 141 welding certificate
Documented experience in pipe welding

# JOB OFFER – PLASTIC PIPE WELDER (SHIPYARD)
Location: Near Ålesund, Norway
Start date: September 2026
Rotation: 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off (4/2)
# # Job Description
We are looking for experienced Plastic Pipe Welders to join a shipyard project in Norway.
The work involves installation and welding of plastic piping systems on newbuild and refurbishment vessels.
Responsibilities:
* welding and installation of plastic piping systems
* butt fusion and electrofusion welding of plastic pipes
* installation of piping systems according to technical and isometric drawings
* preparation, fitting and assembly of pipes and fittings
* quality inspection of completed welds
* compliance with HSE and shipyard quality standards
Experience with the following materials is required:
* PE (HDPE/PE100): Butt fusion or electrofusion welding.
* PP (polypropylene): Typically butt fusion, socket fusion, or extrusion welding.
* PVDF: Usually butt fusion or socket fusion, requiring precise temperature control and cleanliness.
* PVC/CPVC: Normally not heat-welded. These pipes are mainly joined using gluing/ solvent cement, flanges, or mechanical couplings.
Requirements:
* minimum 4 years of experience as a Plastic Pipe Welder
* previous experience in shipyard or industrial projects
* validPlastic Welding Certificate(or equivalent)
* ability to read technical and isometric drawings
* ability to work independently
* english communication skills are an advantage
