Max 😍✨ one year ago, I would not believe I’d put him in lead of a 6-dog team he’s never met, but that’s what I did in December. This was also his first time ever in a team as a grown up. And he just did it, like he’s done it a 100 times before 🫶🏻 And here he is, after his first racing season, with medals in all his races 🤩 How lucky am I to have such an amazing dog 😍

What a day, what a weekend and what a season! 💥 Ending the Norwegian Championship with 9:17 on the 5k and a 🥈 medal over three days 😍 Not only did we win the first race of the season, but Max and Mira got a 🥉 in SOC, just last weekend 🥳 I’m beyond proud of our efforts. And I feel so lucky to have these two wonderful dogs! ❤️ Thank you for a wonderful championship, and thank you all for cheering on me, sending messages, love and support 🫶🏻

Charlie ✨ Already 10 months old! 🥳 We’re so excited the future with him! His mother is my first leader dog, Cita. She’s a very special dog to me, and she lead me to a bronze in my very first 6-dog NC 🥉😍 His father, Nelsson, which is 1/4 Spanish Galgo, has currently won all his Open class races this season ✨ He’s growing up to be a beautiful boy 🐶✨
A lot can happen during a race, especially with young dogs 🐶😨 On Sunday, Tommy got on the wrong side of the center line. This can disturb the flow in the team. It’s a situation where you have to think fast 💭 Luckily, I was able to jump the centerline back over, and he got on the right side before too many seconds was lost 🤩
WE WON!! 🥇🥇 Max, Mira and Tommy had their first official race this weekend, and we won the 4-dog class over 2-days 🤩🤩 I have no words. The dogs behaved so well, and I’m beyond proud of them! Congratulations to my father who also won his class this weekend 😍

✨ HAMAR SLED DOG FESTIVAL ✨ DAY 1 ✨ We ended up on 2nd place today, just 5 second behind the leading team! 😳 with only one experienced dog on the team, day one went better than I could’ve dreamed of. Max, Mira and Tommy had their first official competition today. Mira had her third day ever as a leader dog, and it’s the second time the team has been together 😍 I don’t know what to expect tomorrow, but we’ll take one meter at a time, and focus on doing our very best! ❤️

arranged a training race this weekend. Ihad such a blast 🤩 not only did Max and Mira do a flawless race (besides one stop, but we mutually decided to not talk about that), but they were exceptional at the start, without a handler, AND we had the best time of the day in 7km 🥳 I’m super happy, as this is the first time I’ve let them run full speed since the dryland season 🐕💨 I naturally have high hopes for the season, but my main goal remains; create good experiences for the years to come ❤️🫶🏻 They’re still young, and this is their first season 🫶🏻
Welcome to paradise ✨ Today, we did a 14,5km lap, focusing on holding a higher average speed, and I’m really pleased with Max and Mira. What I’m especially happy with is that the two last km had the highest average speed of the whole workout, and this is after a heavy 12km run yesterday 🤩 we’re naturally saving the competition speed for competitions, but it’s very fun to do some speed training as well after focusing on heavy workouts for such a long time 🫶🏻
I’m so proud of Mira and Max and how good they’ve become at the line out 😍 Every single training I use some time to get ready just to practice the waiting. I feel like it’s a very good way to make it into a routine ☺️ Loving being back on snow, especially after a week on gravel. Crossing my fingers for the snow to stay for the rest of the winter 🤞❄️
My smile stretches from ear to ear as I’m having THE blast now that we’re at last training on snow 😍❄️ I practically ran to get my sled ready for workout on Wednesday!! Max and Mira had a few workouts in front of the sled last winter, but this is their first official season on snow! ⛄️✨ I haven’t really been thinking of what to compete with them this year, but I’m excited to see where the winter takes us! For now, we learn, train and focus on having fun 🥰
