Samtidig får hedersprisen nytt navn: Årets artist – med et tydeligere fokus på kunstnerisk virke innen folkemusikk og folkedans.

Med dette ønsker vi å løfte fram enda flere uttrykk, opplevelser og aktører som driver feltet framover ❤️

A three-year collaboration with rotating members ensures continuity and renewal – and will curate a showcase program reflecting the breadth of Norwegian, Nordic and Sámi folk music and dance.

Norway’s Trad Folk Scene is Booming With an inclusive attitude and contemporary influences, Norwegian artists are recontextualizing their country's folk music traditions.

Folkelarm was so lucky to receive Opstart funding from Nordisk Kulturfond this spring!

The funding was used last week to gather Nordic and Baltic colleauges in Viljandi, Estonia.

We met at Traditional Music Center hosted by Noorma and his amazing team.
