Field Visit | Electrical & Electronics Department ⚡

An insightful industrial visit to Butwal Substation and Parasi Substation by the students of Lumbini Engineering College.
This visit gave us practical exposure to power transmission, transformers, circuit breakers, protection systems, switchyards, and grid operation. Seeing how electrical power is generated, transmitted, protected, and distributed in real-world substations helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practice.

"Every circuit breaker protects the grid, every transformer powers progress, and every substation keeps the nation connected." ⚡🔌

Our 4th-semester Electrical and Electronics Engineering students recently wrapped up their practical lab on the V-curves of a Synchronous Motor. It’s always inspiring to watch our budding engineers bridge the gap between complex textbook equations and real-world machinery—mastering how field excitation directly influences power factor and efficiency.
Their dedication to mastering these core power systems concepts is highly motivating. Keep pushing boundaries, future engineers! 🚀
