Close to the Indian border, nestled at the foothills of the Chure (Siwalik) range in Jeetpur, stands Shree Sahid Rameshwar Ram Prabi School — a humble place where over 125 Dalit children, aged 4 to 10, gather each day with hope in their eyes.

But the reality is heartbreaking. With only three small classrooms, no electricity, and temperatures soaring to 36°C, these young learners endure the burning heat without even a fan. The youngest, just four years old, struggle the most. Families here are among the lowest wage earners, often with barely enough food to survive.

Classes spill out into the fields under trees because there simply isn’t enough space. Drinking water comes from a tube well. Yet, despite these challenges, the children’s determination to learn remains unshaken.

📌 Position: Finance Controller

📌 Reports To: Head – Financial Planning, Haldiram’s India
📌 Package: NPR 300,000 – NPR 400,000 (based on prior salary scale)

📌 Experience: Minimum 10+ years in Finance Management, with direct exposure to manufacturing operations and FMCG raw products related to Haldiram’s.

Key Responsibilities
•Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for Nepal operations.
•Ensure compliance with Nepalese financial regulations and corporate governance standards.
•Oversee accounting, audits, and internal controls to maintain financial discipline.
•Partner with plant operations to manage cost accounting, production variance analysis, and plant-level P&L.
•Drive efficiency in supply chain finance, inventory valuation, and procurement processes.
•Manage cash flow, investments, and risk assessment strategies.
•Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and decision-making.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams and report directly to the Head – Financial Planning, Haldiram’s India.

Mandatory Requirements
•Plant Operations Exposure: Practical experience in manufacturing finance and operational processes.
•FMCG Raw Products Knowledge: Strong understanding of raw material inputs (flour, pulses, oils, spices, packaging) and their impact on cost structures.
•ERP Systems: Hands-on expertise with SAP (FI/CO modules) — candidates without SAP knowledge will not be considered.
•Functional Clarity: Ability to clearly articulate current respnsibilities and functional areas worked on.
•Business Acumen: Strong grasp of key business and operational concepts relevant to plant finance.
•Leadership: Proven ability to mentor and build finance teams at the plant level.
