📢 Important Notice: Revision in Capital Gains Tax (CGT) Rates

Please be informed that as per the recent publication in the Nepal Rajpatra, the Capital Gains Tax (CGT) rates on securities transactions for resident individuals have been revised as follows:

🔹 Short-Term CGT: 5%

🔹 Long-Term CGT: 3.75%

📅 Implementation Date:

The revised rates are applicable for transactions executed on Ashoj 6, 2083, with settlement occurring on Ashoj 8, 2083.

Investors are advised to take note of these updated rates for upcoming trades.
