Over the years, I have watched with my own eyes as avalanches in the Himalayas grow more frequent and violent year after year. Ancient glaciers are melting and receding at an alarming rate. Roads we once walked on have now turned into rushing streams and waterfalls. 😢😢The devastating flood on August 26 along the Nepal-Tibet border is the direct consequence of human destruction and global warming. This catastrophe has brought nothing but sheer ruin to the innocent people of Nepal who love nature so deeply. Tragically, this single disaster has left over 10,000 children without their parents, tearing families apart and leaving them orphaned overnight. They urgently need the world's help.My heart breaks for the innocent people of Nepal. Most of them work tirelessly in the tourism industry just to sustain their families. They travel on foot rather than by car. In their homes, you won't find air conditioning; even electric fans are rarely used. Almost all of their electricity comes from clean, sustainable hydropower.Yet, while civilized nations drive global warming through high carbon emissions, it is the innocent people of Nepal—who harm the planet the least—who stand on the front lines. They are bearing the deepest scars, losing their lives, their homes, and their loved ones to a crisis they did not create.Step by step, the JuJu MaMa Association has been quietly working on the ground in Nepal for over ten years.We are profoundly grateful for the trust and warm support from people across all walks of life. Thanks to the tireless, day-and-night efforts of over 10 DeLight volunteers in Kathmandu, the emergency relief supplies are finally coming together. We will deliver these crucial goods as fast as possible to the disaster-stricken areas of Nuwakot—straight into the hands of those innocent families who have lost everything.Thank you to everyone around us for your immense kindness. Thank you for standing with us to bring timely warmth and relief to the victims in Nepal.Please accept my deepest, most heartfelt bow.
