Make polluters pay!
End tax incentives for polluters and enforce the polluter pays principle.

Caregivers sustain families, communities, and economies, yet their contributions often go unpaid and undervalued. We demand tax credits for caregivers to recognize their essential work and ease their financial burden.

Tax wealth. Not survival. Not women.
Regressive taxes disproportionately impact women and low-income families while protecting extreme wealth. A fair economy starts with fair taxation.

🌍 Global South and the Global Polycrisis: Challenging Inequality, Reclaiming Sovereignty, and Advancing People’s Alternatives
On 7 August 2026, LDC Watch, SAAPE, RRN and APSF, together with members and co-organisers—Association for Research and Cooperation in Support of Endogenous Development (ARCAD), SEATINI Uganda, Zambia Social Forum (ZAMSOF), Coordonnateur National CERDYSOC (Democratic Republic of Congo), and Oxfam International—brought together diverse voices from across the Global South at the World Social Forum 2026 in Benin.
The discussion confronted deepening inequality, neoliberalism, authoritarianism, debt, climate and food crises, and called for reclaiming people’s sovereignty, strengthening global solidarity, and advancing transformative alternatives that put people and communities at the centre. ✊🏽🌍
Another world is not only possible—it is being built through collective action and solidarity across the Global South.
