Col. Baneera Thapa, Principal of Nepal Army College of Health Sciences (NACHS), officially received a dedicated piece of artwork from Ms. Kinjal Dangol, a Diploma in Pharmacy student, for the college magazine, NACHS Tribune. The college subsequently felicitated Ms. Dangol in recognition of her outstanding artistic talent and contribution.

On Bhadra 3, 2083, the Nepali Army College of Health Sciences (NACHS) organized a ceremony to officially welcome newly appointed Principal T/Col. Banira Thapa and bid a warm farewell to outgoing Principal T/Brig. Gen. Rama S***a. The event was held in the presence of Principal of College of Nursing T/Col. Kalpana Karki, NAIHS Acting Director Lt. Col. Raj Kumar Thapa, NACHS Vice Principal Mr. Dinesh Dhakal, Lt. Col. Meg Gurung, NACHS Admin Head Maj. Sun Bahadur Gole, as well as various army officers, faculty coordinators, and staff. The program concluded with expressions of deep gratitude for T/Brig. Gen. S***a's dedicated leadership and enthusiastic well-wishes for T/Col. Banira Thapa as she takes charge to lead the institution forward. Below are some glimpses of the event.

The Nepali Army College of Health Sciences successfully organized a program to observe World Breastfeeding Week 2026. PCL Nursing students highlighted the importance of breastfeeding through very informative art exhibition. The creative displays was beautifully integrated with the global 2026 slogan, "Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works,". The event was honored by the presence of Principal T/Brig. Gen. Rama S***a, Vice Principal Dinesh Dhakal, the Administrative Officer, Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) coordinator, departmental coordinators, faculties, and students.

On 2083/03/19, Nepali Army College of Health Sciences (NACHS) organized an orientation program for the newly admitted students of the 15th Batch of PCL Nursing and the 10th Batch of General Medicine, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT), Physiotherapy, and Diagnostic Radiography.
The program was graced by Chief Guest Maj. Gen. Prof. Dr. Devendra Bahadur Khatri (Retd.), Executive Director of NAIHS, and Special Guest Brig. Gen. Manoj Baidawar, Director of the Army Welfare Directorate. Distinguished guests included Brig. Gen. Prof. Dr. Bhuwan Raj Kunwar; Brig. Gen. Purusottam Khadka, Director of NAIHS; Brig. Gen. Prof. Dr. Ratna Khatri, Principal, NAIHS-College of Medicine; and T/Col. Kalpana Karki, Principal, NAIHS-College of Nursing.
The program commenced with a welcome address by T/Col. Rama S***a, Principal of NACHS. She warmly welcomed the new students and encouraged them to uphold discipline, integrity, compassion, and academic excellence throughout their professional journey.
Special Guest Brig. Gen. Manoj Baidawar welcomed the new students and encouraged them to uphold professionalism, compassion, and dedication in their future healthcare careers.
Chief Guest Maj. Gen. Prof. Dr. Devendra Bahadur Khatri (Retd.) congratulated the newly admitted students and emphasized the importance of quality health sciences education, ethical practice and lifelong learning.
A major highlight of the event was the release of the first issue of the college magazine, NACHS Tribune, marking a significant milestone in the academic and literary journey of NACHS.
The orientation also included an overview of the college by the Vice Principal, sessions on administrative procedures, institutional regulations by Adminstration officer; the code of conduct, and the student oath ceremony by Basic Science coordinator. The program concluded with inspiring experience sharing by alumni and cultural performances presented by students.

NACHS organized an Award Distribution Program on 2083-03-09 to recognize and encourage first, second, and third year students who secured first, second, and third positions in the Second Terminal Examination. The awards were presented by Principal Col. Rama S***a in the presence of the Vice Principal, Administrative Officer, Coordinators, faculty members, staff, and students. The program was conducted with the objective of motivating students to strive for academic excellence, rewarding their hard work and achievements, and inspiring fellow students to perform better and pursue excellence in their academic endeavors.

NACHS observed the 12th International Yoga Day, emphasizing the importance of yoga for physical and mental well-being among students, faculty members, and staff. The program highlighted the role of meditation in improving concentration, reducing stress, and promoting overall health.
Various yoga and meditation sessions were organized as part of the celebration, encouraging participants to adopt healthy lifestyle practices. Principal Col. Rama S***a highlighted the significance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental balance, and emotional well-being. She encouraged everyone to incorporate yoga and meditation into their daily routines for a healthier and more productive life. Special thanks to ECA coordinator and the Yoga and Meditation Team of NACHS for their dedicated efforts in successfully organizing and conducting the program.

मिति २०८३/०२/२८ गते NACHS का PCL नर्सिङ दोस्रो वर्षका विद्यार्थीहरूद्वारा श्री जनजागृति रश्मि माध्यमिक विद्यालय, बालाजुटारमा विद्यालय स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम तथा स्वास्थ्य प्रदर्शनी सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्नभयो । कार्यक्रम अन्तर्गत विद्यार्थीहरूले स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा, व्यक्तिगत सरसफाइ, पोषण, प्राथमिक उपचार तथा स्वास्थ्य प्रवर्द्धनसम्बन्धी विभिन्न विषयहरूमा जानकारीमूलक प्रदर्शनी प्रस्तुत गरेका थिए।
प्रदर्शनीको अन्तिम अवलोकन NACHS का प्राचार्य Col. रमा सुब्बाले गर्नुभएको थियो। उहाँसँगै सह-प्राचार्य दिनेश ढकालको पनि उपस्थिति रहेको थियो। उहाँहरूले विद्यार्थीहरूको सक्रिय सहभागिता, सिर्जनशीलता तथा व्यावहारिक सिकाइको प्रशंसा गर्नुभयो।
कार्यक्रमलाई सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न गर्न मार्गदर्शन र सहयोग प्रदान गर्नुहुने NACHS का सम्पूर्ण संकाय सदस्यहरू तथा सहयोग र समन्वयका लागि श्री जनजागृति राष्ट्रिय माध्यमिक विद्यालय, बालाजुटारका विद्यालय प्रशासन, शिक्षकवर्ग र सम्पूर्ण विद्यालय परिवारप्रति NACHS हार्दिक धन्यवाद तथा आभार व्यक्त गर्दछ।

NACHS observed World Environment Day by organizing tree plantation program on the college premises. The Vice Principal, Administrative Officer, ECA Coordinator, faculty members, staff, and students participated in the event and planted different types of trees to promote environmental awareness and sustainability.
