Prakash Raj Pandey - PRP

By leading an eleven-member expedition team at the top of Mt Everest, I have raised the voice of the rights of children and appealed the Scouts all across the world to scale the highest peak. I am also fortunate to become the official Scout Member to ascend Mt Everest carrying the “World Organization of Scout Movement Flag” and the “Messenger of the Peace Initiative’, a movement jointly initiated by King of Sweden and Saudi Arabia. I am also the second ever climber to scale Baden Powell Scout Peak twice from Nepal Scout, which I did in June 2016 and October 2017. As a Scout trainer, I have been active in Nepal Scout for past 12 years and involved in various charity works and advocacy campaigns. Also a Youth Ambassador of the Habitat for Humanity Nepal, I have been campaigning for safe and disaster resilient community homes in rural Nepal. I have been actively involved in supporting the education for the children of underprivileged indigenous Chepang community in Ratnanagar, Chitwan.
