MATES

MATES is an acronym for motivation, activities, team, education and support. Events advertised on this platform are for those who are blind or low vision and are a member or eligible to be a member of blind low vision NZ. Family and friends are more than welcome to attend and volunteer. We ask to please contact us if you are new and wanting to join us on any events we arrange. Our aim is to support and grow our vision impaired peers in all aspects of life, from motivating them to achieve their goals, give them the opportunity of social activities and support in learning everyday life skills from traveling A to B, to cooking well/safely. Please do not text or call our mobile phone between 10am to 4pm, unless on the day of the acitivity.
