Walls are up, framing is done and she’s officially taking shape.
Next week GIB goes up and things start looking a little less construction site, a little more home.

Scrolling through the camera roll and came across this one from 7 years ago. Three tiny cabins out in Omaha.
Always good looking back at past projects, seeing the work done over the years and thinking about the lessons and experience taken from each one.
And I've got to say digging those piles in sand was an absolute dream!

Plenty has gone into getting our Mt Albert project to this stage, with a massive team effort across multiple trades all working together and keeping things moving in the right direction.
Good progress, good crew, and another big milestone getting ticked off.
Massive transformation underway in Mt Albert.
Here's a quick look at where it all started. This renovation has been a real team effort, with a number of skilled trades all working together toward the same goal bringing this home back to life.
There's still plenty to come, but it's awesome to see everything starting to take shape.

Driveway prep is underway. Looking forward to showing you what's to come.
Smart renovations aren't just about making a home look better, they're about making it work better.
By rethinking the layout, improving functionality, and creating spaces you'll actually use every day, this kitchen has become the true heart of the home.

Meet Liam
Liam is our second-year apprentice and an important part of the Razor Construction team.
A proud former Auckland Grammar student and a staunch Hurricanes supporter, Liam joined the building industry looking for a career that would keep him active, challenge him every day, and provide opportunities to learn new skills. He’s found exactly that in the construction trade.
Liam brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine willingness to learn. He’s always asking questions, taking on new challenges, and soaking up as much knowledge as possible to continue developing his skills.
Away from the job site, Liam has an impressive hidden talent. In his younger years, he represented New Zealand in trampolining, travelling internationally and competing against some of the world’s best athletes. The discipline, commitment, and focus he developed through sport continue to shape the way he approaches his work today.
When he’s not on site, you’ll likely find Liam on the golf course enjoying a round with friends and competing on the rugby field for ponies U21s.
We’re proud to support Liam as he grows his career in the trade and look forward to seeing him continue to develop into an outstanding builder.
