For Hamish, whakapapa is more than ancestry; it’s a way of understanding relationships, stories and the journey of every material. Each piece begins by honouring where it has come from, recognising the history held within the materials and carrying that story forward into something new.

His guiding philosophy is that objects are not simply made, they are connected. Through thoughtful design, reclaimed materials and considered craftsmanship, Hamish creates pieces that respect the past while imagining their future.
