We provide personalised after-school English and Maths tutoring for primary and secondary students i

05/08/2026

Why do we provide a free assessment or lesson to all students who enquire with us?

When you bring your child or teen to us looking for tutoring in maths and english, it's so important that we know first if it will be a good fit, for you and your child.

Children up to year 8 are offered a free assessment, and those over year 8 are given a free trial lesson. This gives us the opportunity to see where they are at, and what they most need our help with.

It is also to ensure that they feel comfortable in our learning environment, and that we can provide the tuition they need so that they have the highest chance of success.

Contact us on 0508 888 674 to make time to come in and meet our team.

If homework feels like a nightly battle, you're not alone.

A few simple changes can make a big difference:
✓ Create a consistent homework routine.
✓ Reduce distractions.
✓ Encourage short, focused study sessions.
✓ Praise effort rather than perfection.

If homework is becoming a source of stress, it may be a sign your child needs a little extra support—not that they're not trying.

Help your child feel confident again.

One of the biggest misconceptions around what we do is that tutoring is only for students who are struggling.

In reality, the earlier we identify learning gaps, the easier they are to close.

Sometimes it's not about catching up. It's about building confidence before small challenges become bigger ones.
Every child learns differently, and a little support at the right time can make a big difference.

If you've been wondering whether your child would benefit from some extra support, we'd love to chat.

Lucy’s Learning Story

Lucy has been part of the Thinking2morrow family since she was in Year 2.

Over the years, we have watched her grow in confidence, improve her skills and continue to enjoy the support she receives each week.

Lucy is now in Year 13, and we are supporting her as she works towards completing her final Math's papers.

After more than 10 years with us, Lucy is very much part of the Thinking2morrow family. We feel incredibly lucky to have shared such an important part of her learning journey.

Most children answer the "how was your day?" question with "fine" or "ok" before they've even taken their school bag off.

It's not because they don't want to talk, but it often takes the right question to unlock the conversation.

By asking more specific questions, you can gain a better understanding of what your child is enjoying, where they're feeling confident, and whether there are areas they're quietly finding difficult.

Those everyday conversations can help you spot small concerns before they become bigger challenges, while also giving your child the chance to celebrate their successes.

Swipe through for five simple questions you can add to your after-school routine.

And if your child mentions they're feeling confused, frustrated or like they're falling behind, remember they don't have to navigate it alone. A little extra support at the right time can make a world of difference to both their confidence and their learning.

💙 Save this post so you've always got a few conversation starters ready for the drive home or around the dinner table.

It's something we hear surprisingly often.

Parents tell us they waited because they hoped things would improve on their own.

Sometimes they do.
Sometimes a small learning gap quietly becomes a bigger one.

The earlier we understand where support is needed, the easier it is to help children build confidence before frustration sets in.

Early support isn't about getting ahead.
It's about giving your child the best chance to thrive.

Every student arrives with different strengths, challenges and goals.

That's why we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to learning.

Our tutors take the time to understand where each student is at, identify any learning gaps, and create a personalised pathway that builds both skills and confidence.

Because when learning is tailored to the individual, students are far more likely to succeed.

We have classes in both Remuera & Botany: Discover how personalised learning works.

"Sarah-Louise and her team provide fantastic quality tuition. They’re passionate about learning, and it shows. The focus on building confidence and a positive mindset around the subjects (not just the grades), leads to a real turnaround in both attitude and results. They truly care about their students. Highly recommended!"
