🧡🖤 Child Safeguarding Week | South Auckland Rangers AFC ⚽

At South Auckland Rangers AFC, the safety and wellbeing of our tamariki and rangatahi is at the heart of everything we do.

Football should be a place where every young person feels safe, respected, included and supported — whether they are playing, training, learning new skills or simply enjoying time with their teammates.

With so many children and young people involved across our First Kicks, Junior, Youth, Girls, Skills Centre and development programmes, safeguarding is a responsibility we all share.

During Child Safeguarding Week, we remind our coaches, managers, volunteers, parents, caregivers and supporters of the important role we each play in creating a positive and safe football environment.

We are committed to:
⚽ Putting the wellbeing of our young players first
⚽ Creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment
⚽ Treating every child with respect and dignity
⚽ Promoting positive behaviour on and off the field
⚽ Speaking up and taking action when something doesn’t feel right

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

Together, we can ensure South Auckland Rangers continues to be a club where our tamariki and rangatahi can play, develop, belong and enjoy football safely. 🧡🖤
