Child Rescue is the New Zealand branch of the Destiny Rescue family, a global network of organisations. We are an anti-human trafficking organisation dedicated to rescuing children from s*xual exploitation and modern slavery. Our mission is to raise awareness and empower everyday Kiwis to take action, rescuing vulnerable children and equipping survivors to build new futures through post-rescue rehabilitation. Child Rescue Charitable Trust and Child Rescue Charitable Aid Trust are registered with the New Zealand Charities Services. Donors receive a 33.33 cent tax rebate for every dollar donated over $5. RESCUE UPDATE: 6 Rescued from Sexual Exploitation in Thailand
Five women and one 14-year-old girl were rescued during a raid.
Our agents collaborated with Thai law enforcement by providing undercover work, surveillance and intelligence gathering to prepare for the raid. Their findings uncovered that a local karaoke bar was acting as a front for illicit s*x trafficking. The ensuing raid was a success; the women were all returned home safely, and the child was entrusted to a local shelter to recover from all she had endured.

RESCUE UPDATE: 15 Rescued in South Asia
14 girls and one 19-year-old woman rescued from various forms of s*x trafficking in South Asia
Our team in South Asia used their wide-ranging expertise to rescue the children and young woman from their abusers. Most of the survivors had been under the brutal control of their traffickers, but one was a victim of r**e and another was forced into selling herself just to survive.
Several of the girls were rescued when rescue agents went undercover to offer them a chance at freedom. Agents collaborated with law enforcement to rescue the rest, including one raid that rescued 8 victims.
All of the survivors were returned home (some in other countries) or given a new, safe place to live.

They are sharing how they feel in their newfound life of freedom.
RESCUE UPDATE: Twenty-five children are now free from s*xual exploitation!
Twenty-five children in Uganda, along with five young women, no longer have to sell their bodies just to get enough money to eat.
Most of the children joined our Residential Care program, which offers kids the opportunity to live together in our residential home, where they are lovingly cared for by Destiny Rescue caseworkers.
The home lets kids not only recover from all they’ve suffered but also equip themselves with job training and life skills so they can live a life free when they graduate.

We’re acknowledging International Women's Day by celebrating the women who make rescue possible: the brave survivors who choose freedom, the rescue agents in Nepal who help stop human trafficking victims at the border, the caseworkers in the Philippines who provide comfort after rescue, the leaders in Africa who venture into the darkness to bring survivors to the light, those raising funds around the world to help provide the resources necessary to find and rescue kids and countless others.
Rescue wouldn’t be possible without these uniquely-equipped, powerful and strong women.
