Captain Custard book signing at Retrospace this weekend!

If your kids love comics, Captain Custard is definitely worth checking out!

Captain Custard is a kid friendly comic, written and illustrated by Richard Stevens.

Captain Custard is about the crew of the SGS Tartanium – a team of intergalactic peacekeepers who, with the help of their leader, Captain Custard, wind up in more trouble than they manage to prevent.

Come and meet the author, grab a book and get it signed — the signing will be:

The Auckland Hobbies Fair is on today!

Retrospace is involved in running this event, and also has a large stand there.
Over 100 exhibitors. The last time this event was held earlier this year it attracted 1000 people.
The Takapuna shop remains open as usual.

The Auckland Hobbies fair is one of New Zealand’s largest Toy Fairs for sci-fi Toys, Diecast models, collectible toys, Lego, working models, and much more. It is held twice a year.

Toy fair includes:
Dinky, Corgi, Lledo, Matchbox, Hotwheels, Solido, Minichamps, Spot-On, Fun-Ho, Hot-Wheels, Diecast models, old tin plate toys, Meccano, model trains and accessories, toy soldiers, kitsets, Doctor Who, Star Wars, Batman, TV themes, Masters of the Universe, Action figures, McDonalds toys, dolls & bears, miniatures, DVDs, books, magazines, records, plastic models, planes and more.
Eftpos and cash out facilities available. Drinks and food are available on-site to purchase.

Retrospace will be at this event with full eftpos & credit card facilities.

Takapuna Winter Lights is a family-friendly, all-ages outdoor sensory experience event with large scale light installations, performers and music. It is a hugely popular free event that will bring people from across Auckland/NZ for a night out in Takapuna.
