Monster Energy has come on board as title sponsor of JCR Yamaha, and the freshly badged Monster Energy JCR Yamaha squad has just been revealed in full team kit.
It’s a serious statement from one of New Zealand’s leading motocross outfits, and the rider line-up backs it up.

Cole Davies has sealed the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross 250 Championship at Ironman, wrapping it up in moto one and doing it on his birthday.
That’s two American titles in one season for the Waitoki kid, after taking out the 250SX East Supercross championship back in April. He’s only the sixth foreign born rider to ever win the outdoor 250 crown, alongside Langston, Wilson, Ferrandis and the Lawrence brothers.
Four overall wins across the season at High Point, RedBud, Washougal and Unadilla, and a title fight that came down to the last round.
From New Zealand to number one plate. Unreal effort mate.

In case you didn’t know, one of our own, Chris Power, only went and put a CFMOTO 450MT on the podium at Romaniacs - just one place behind two-time Dakar winner Sam Sunderland. He wrote about the highs and lows of his race - it’s a fantastic read.

Seth Morrow signs off 2026 ProMX with a perfect finale
The 18 year old Southlander, now based in Queensland, swept both Maxxis MX3 motos at the Queensland Moto Park finale on 1 and 2 August, taking the round win from Riley Burgess. It made six straight moto wins across the final three rounds, following his breakthrough double at Traralgon and another 1-1 at Conondale.
The title had already gone. Fellow Kiwi Hayden Draper wrapped up the MX3 crown in the opening moto of the weekend, finishing fourth while main rival Heath Fisher went backwards. But the fight behind him went right to the flag, and Morrow’s clean sweep vaulted him from fourth to third.
**Final MX3 standings**
- Hayden Draper (NZ) 303
- Riley Burgess 275
- Seth Morrow (NZ) 273
- Heath Fisher 271
Two points off second, four points covering the entire battle for the minor placings.
“Once I had that first race win, it took a bit of weight off my shoulders and I just wanted that winning feeling again and again,” Morrow said.
Two Kiwis on the MX3 championship podium, and the fastest man in the class over the closing rounds heads into the off season with plenty to build on.
