Treesafe Limited

Not many tree companies can say this: we're ISO and Totika certified.

It's a tough one to get in this industry, only a couple of tree companies in the country hold it. That certification is what gets us onto sites that require that level of compliance before you're even through the gate.

Our specialty is responsiveness. Tell a client "yep, we'll be there" and then make it happen, nine times out of ten.

Want our certifications on file? Give us a shout and our office manager Katrina will get them sent through.

Quarter to six starts, yard first, then out to site.

Catch up on how the job's tracking, run the site inspection, check off the assets, get the risk assessment sorted properly before anyone picks up a saw.

Best part of the day? The drive between sites. Some of the views out there are hard to beat.

Back at the yard by 1 or 2, sort tomorrow's gear (and have the usual argument with the other managers about who gets what), then go home and do it all again.

Forty-odd massive Phoenix palms, gone in a week.

We worked with the Hibiscus and Bays community group to help eradicate Phoenix palms from the area, starting with the main offenders at Waiwera campground.

Big digger, big gear. The boys cut them down, chipped the lot, and left the mulch on site.

Clean and tidy when we left. Job done.

Time is money, so how you set the site up matters.

Get the order wrong and the whole job slows down.

Normally we clear the vegetation before the house comes down. On this site, access meant the house went first, giving us more room to move and getting the job done faster.

Every site's different. Read it right and the job runs itself.

Full site clearance for a development job.

Client's developing this property, so every tree comes out to make way for it.

On site: a couple of 10 cube trucks, a 15-inch chipper, and Bob, our little two-ton excavator, hauling material from around the section up to the chipper.

Straight into mulch, straight into the truck.

Got a site that needs clearing? Give us a shout.
