MPHS Tipping Point

Behind every tidy shelf, every styled furniture display, every organised toy area and every quality item that finds a new home, there’s a team making it happen.

What many people don’t see is the journey before an item ever reaches the shop floor.

Our donation team are out there every day receiving donations, helping unload vehicles, sorting through thousands of items, recovering resources from the transfer station and identifying what can be saved from landfill.

From there, items are cleaned, tested, repaired, priced, displayed and restocked by our shop team, who work incredibly hard to create a welcoming and affordable shopping experience for our community.

It takes a village to keep Tipping Point running.

From the donation area to the shop floor, from volunteers to staff, from sorting and cleaning through to customer service and sales — every part of the operation relies on people working together.

A huge thank you to our Sunday crew and to every member of the Tipping Point whānau. The work is often unseen, but it is what makes this place possible.

The beautiful spaces you see in these photos are the result of many hands, many skills and a shared commitment to keeping valuable resources circulating in our community. 💚♻️
