Starting a brand is damn hard. I’ve been working on One of XX for about a year now. Making the clothes is only a small part of it. I’m constantly pitching stores, driving around Europe, making videos, trying things, getting ignored, trying again. Stores are careful with new brands. Online, you’re competing with thousands of brands and huge advertising budgets. The reality is pretty simple: by the end of this year, this brand needs to start making enough money to keep going. I believe in what we’re making. Clothes made from what already exists, in small numbered runs, instead of producing more and more new stuff. So I’m going to keep trying. Maybe posting my pitch on the internet helps. Who knows. Let’s go.

Social Media: What It Does to Women — Professor Alessio Romano Welcome to The Ancient Dog. In this Fantasy Talk, AI-generated Professor Alessio Romano has the conversation nobody in Silicon Valley wants you to have. Facebook's founding president admitted on record they built the platform to exploit a vulnerability in human psychology — and they did it anyway. Instagram's own internal research found it makes body image worse for one in three teenage girls. And when researchers paid people to quit for a month, they got happier. Then most went back anyway. Is Professor Alessio Romano real? No. 🤖✨ AI-generated character, real research. David and I are incredibly lucky to be spending time at Chiva-Som.

Thailand has always been one of our favourite places in the world, and Chiva-Som is set in the most beautiful, peaceful surroundings imaginable. But what has truly made this experience unforgettable isn’t just the stunning retreat, it’s the people.

I can’t emphasise enough how extraordinary every member of the team is. Their professionalism is exceptional, but it’s their genuine kindness, warmth and endless patience that set this place apart. Every interaction feels heartfelt, and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Yes, Chiva-Som is a world-class wellness destination, but the family they have created here is something very special. I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled extensively and stayed in many beautiful places, but I’ve never experienced hospitality quite like this.

Thank you to every single person who makes this place what it is. You are the heart and soul of Chiva-Som, and that’s what makes people want to return again and again.

Vanessa 🙏❤️

Hi Ladies,
Thank you for all of the interest this weekend!

I was hoping to ask a favour to those who have made purchases from us this year…

If you could please leave a testimonial or a review in the comments that you have received the items you have paid for.

I’ve been getting quite a lot of accusations of this being a scam over the last few days!

Would be greatly appreciated,
Ben
