The team recently completed this install at Fleetwood Apartments for a landlord to comply with Healthy Homes. 1x Carrier High Wall AC-Heat pump, 1x Ceiling mounted Vogue Range Hood, ducted to the existing extract riser shaft, c/w required fire and back draft dampers. Limited parking,only stair access, locking self closing fire doors, tight space, solid concrete ceilings all making life a lot harder. We are the retrofit kings, and why we are pre-approved by only the best building managers and body corps in town. This is the slip that hit one of our neighbours, causing our Red Sticker by council. He has been given permission to clear it now. This slip was caused by a poorly installed electrical mains conduit that went up a drive above. It was not capped or sealed at the top, so became a underground fire hose as filled with water, basically water jetting the hill down. He saw it doing it after the slip. Most of our current woes can be put down to lack of council maintenance, and poor past installs. Never use cheap cowboy installers, its just not worth it. We are still homeless by the way.

The sticker you dont want to see on your house after a devastating cyclone. We have been without power, mobile, landline, internet, water since Monday night then told to evacuate yesterday. Sorry if ive missed calls, emails, been just trying to survive and help the Piha community. A lot are worse off that us, as lost entire homes to slips and floods. Catch up with you all soon!

Hi Customers and friends. We are currently without power, internet, mobile, even landline services here in Piha after being devastated by Cyclone Gabriel Monday night. As such i cant respond to you unless i managed to drive to town, but the roads are compromised and its 4WD only and via Swanson due to the damaged roads. Will be back ASAP. Thank you.

Good start to the New Year! A service call for a water leak. Customer had set all AC to 15deg C and left it running over the break. (Daily as time clock at least turned off units at night). Found one completely iced up unit! Took two hrs to defrost on full heating. The ambient air temp was a chilly 16.8 deg C! Checked the other units and they were all set the same! I had advised the tenant previously not to turn units below 19 deg C. Turning units down will not make them cool faster! They just never cycle off and boom your AC is a ice machine. Ice expands and can cause cracks as well. Advised landlord to charge the tenants for my time today because stupid tenants need to learn! Interrupted my storm kitesurfing time! ⛄️❄️🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Stoked to be involved with this project! The Onehunga Club incorporates the RSA, and Bowling Club. Its getting a new Kitchen, and complete refresh for 2023. This is a Co-Lab joint effort with Cosy Air to win this project starting in the New Year. Its especially exciting for me given I’m the current Piha RSA President (a volunteer role).
