Whilst in the UK our CEO Sarah was lucky enough to revisit Team Domenica Cafés in Brighton 🇬🇧
They are doing amazing work for young people with learning disabilities and autism, which includes training in The North Star pub.
Thanks Lisa and team for making us feel so welcome, and for sharing your valuable insights 🌟

We’re so excited to introduce our newest Project Employ ambassador Atlanta Lolohea (*_*) 🎉
Atlanta is a professional athlete, currently playing for both the Blues and the Black Ferns rugby teams. She heavily values continuous growth in her life and enjoys learning new things.
In 2023, Atlanta was called into the Black Ferns environment as injury cover. Her professionalism and work ethic left a strong impression on selectors, leading to her securing her first Black Ferns contract in 2024.
Atlanta chose to become a PE ambassador because she believes that people with intellectual disabilities should be given more of an opportunity to grow and be comfortable anywhere in the work force.
Welcome to the team, Atlanta, and thank you for choosing to help neurodiverse young adults gain meaningful, paid employment and to live their best lives 👏

Happy Monday from all at Project Employ and Flourish Cafe!
Today we’re doing a huge shout out of thanks to Sky City Community Trust. After seeing the impact our training and employment programmes are having on so many neurodiverse young adults, employers, and the wider community, they have awarded us a multi year grant 👏👏
This generous grant will help us increase the number of trainees learning in our Flourish Cafes; extend our hospitality and employability workshops; and provide more 1:1 Job Coach support.
It will enable our employment team to work alongside more businseses as they navigate hiring a more diverse workforce; and help us continue creating regular, natural interactions between our trainees and the local community.
So, on behalf of our 48 graduates, 11 current trainees, and all the neurodiverse young adults that we’re yet to have the pleasure of meeting, thank you Sky City Community Trust 🙏🙏
