Great workshop in mandarin today with Estella from the Chinese Conservation Education Trust and Trash Free Taiaotea!
Participants learned where their waste goes when using Auckland Council waste services, including the rukenga kai food scraps service and received free resources to support their use including kitchen food caddies and liners.
Great to see some of our dear friends from the Browns Bay and Long Bay Chinese Societies and thanks to Chrissy and Andrew from East Coast Bays Library for their support and tech savvy!

It was an absolute joy to work with Heart Of The Bays on their 'Old School Games" play event at the Rothesay Bay Residents & Ratepayers Association Hall yesterday.
Not a device in sight, with young and old getting active and enjoying each others company. Ka pai to Kim for some amazing activities.

Grateful to the East Coast Bays Library Eco Neighbourhood for donating seeds for the upcoming opening of the Albany Village Library Eco Neighbourhood Seed Library.
Seeds include marigold, coriander, sunflower, fennel, basil, butternut, and shungiku.
Come along to Albany Library this Sunday 24th May from 2:00PM - 3:00PM, and
