Opera Factory

Wonderful night at the opening of NZ Opera's The Pearl Fishers. It was great to see Filipe and Anthony, and catch up with so many who have had a connection with Opera Factory. The production is a feast for the eyes and ears...congratulations everyone!

We'd like to acknowledge Michael Smith who passed away recently. He was our main official photographer for many years and had a wonderful capacity to capture 'nice' photos of our singers while performing. Even with mouths open and hitting the top notes, they were always fantastic and skilful shots of our many many events and opera seasons in our small theatre. We send our sympathy to founding member Jess and her family for their loss and are so thankful that Michael became part of our extended family at Opera Factory and our Eden Street Theatre years.

It's the finals of this lovely competition tonight so do get along to hear these singers compete for the Ronald Dellow prize.
