Educator perspectives on the proposed qualification framework reforms and engagement in subject Mathematics

Purpose
Tirotiro Anō is an independent research project commissioned by Te Wehengarua (NZPPTA) examining the proposed changes to national qualifications in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The project brings together research evidence and sector perspectives to better understand the educational, equity, implementation, and system-level implications of reform proposals published up to the end of May 2026

By taking part in this survey (approximately 5 - 10 minutes), you have the opportunity to share your perspectives and experiences as Mathematics educators working within kura on education and qualification change.

This survey contributes to an important engagement process where Mathematics educator perspectives have had limited visibility within the development of the change framework.

Your contribution helps ensure that research and future discussions are informed by the voices and realities of those working directly with the curriculum and assessment and most importantly with the young people of Aotearoa and their whānau.
