What a weekend for Auckland - and what a weekend for our FIRST Security teams!

The City Rail Link is officially open, and our people have been out across the network helping keep passengers, staff and stations safe as Aucklanders experience the new stations and services.

It’s been a great example of teamwork and partnership, with our FIRST Security teams working closely with Auckland One Rail and Auckland Transport throughout the opening and first weekend of operations.

We’re incredibly proud of the role our people have played and the professionalism, commitment and teamwork they’ve shown.

We love the partnership we have with AOR and AT, and the way our teams work together to keep Auckland moving safely.

Hayden took out the NZSA Specialised Security Services Professional of the Year Award - and then went on to win the NZSA Security Professional of the Year, the supreme award of the evening!

As our National Manager, Banking & Infrastructure, Hayden has played a pivotal role in transforming FIRST Security into New Zealand’s leading specialist ATM security partner.

His strategic leadership, deep banking expertise and commitment to operational excellence have helped set the benchmark for specialised security services across New Zealand.

Winning his category was an outstanding achievement. Taking home the Security Professional of the Year title is an incredible recognition of Hayden’s contribution to the industry and his leadership at FIRST.

Auckland’s next chapter in public transport starts this Sunday.

As the City Rail Link (CRL) opens on Sunday, 13 September, we’re proud to continue our longstanding partnership with Auckland One Rail (AOR), providing security across the stations and platforms they manage.

With the CRL bringing new stations and connections into the rail network, our FIRST Security teams will be there alongside AOR and Auckland Transport, helping keep passengers, travellers, staff and the public safe as Auckland experiences this significant milestone.

We’re proud of the role our people play every day in supporting safe, welcoming and well-managed public transport - and to be part of this exciting next step for Tāmaki Makaurau.
